      Calculate the MD5 digest of the given bytes.
      Parameters:
      bytes - the bytes to calculate the digest over
      Returns:

      Calculate the MD5 digest of the given stream.

      This method does not close the input stream.

      Parameters:
      inputStream - the InputStream to calculate the digest over
      Returns:
      the digest
